brenley@legisequine.com

Brenley joined the LEGIS team on January 20th, bringing with her a rich background in riding, teaching, and horsemanship. She began teaching full-time at 17 years old and truly was “raised in a barn.” Her high school bedroom was half of a hayloft—and she loved every minute of it.

Dressage is her primary discipline, where she earned both her USDF Bronze and Silver medals. She’s also competed through Training level in eventing and dabbled in jumpers in her younger years. Brenley continues to ride and train actively while working with LEGIS.

Since entering the insurance field, Brenley has found the topic to be incredibly rewarding. With her extensive background in horses, she finds it easy to connect with clients. “It is so rewarding helping clients have safeguards for when something happens,” she explains.

What Brenley values most about LEGIS is the team environment. As horse people, the team shares a unique bond, riding each other’s horses, watching major competitions together, and supporting one another both in and out of the office.

Craig Rajoy joined the LEGIS team in December of 2022. Excited for a new challenge, he jumped in headfirst to the insurance side of the equine industry. Craig’s equine experience developed from owning and managing Game 7 PEMF, a Los Angeles based company providing Pulsed Electromagnetic Field sessions for horses, humans, and dogs. Fascinated by the horses he was working on, Craig decided to learn some riding basics. He took lessons at Hansen Dam Riding School before moving to Aiken, SC.

With two young sons, Emmett and Alexander, Craig enjoys introducing his boys to various sports, with baseball being his favorite.. The couple owns four rescue dogs and a flock of chickens. Craig loves life in South Carolina for the numerous outdoor activities and unhurried atmosphere. He looks forward to raising his family and continuing his career with LEGIS.

Cassie Strobel - Associate

(LIC # 21568559)
cassie@legisequine.com

Cassie joined the LEGIS team on January 20, 2025, marking her transition into the insurance industry. She brings valuable hands-on experience from her time at a veterinary clinic and working with top-level eventers, including 5* rider Lillian Heard-Wood. With her years of experience in the eventing world, she contributes insightful perspective to the team.

Riding saddle seat recreationally in her hometown gave eight-year-old Cassie her starting point. She immersed herself in all types of horse books  and the “White Stallion of Lipizza” by Marguerite Henry, led to Cassie’s love of dressage. After a family move, Cassie spent her childhood riding bareback, exploring trails, and hanging out with horses as much as possible. At 14 she got a two-year-old Quarter Horse mare, Tipsy.

In college, Cassie rode competitively with the Intercollegiate Dressage Association and shortly after developed a passion for eventing when she discovered she could do everything she wanted in one discipline, and she hasn’t looked back! Cassie competed through Training level in eventing and cannot wait to be back out in the show ring!

Cassie appreciates how LEGIS lives its motto, #HorsemenInsuringHorsemen. Working alongside fellow horse people allows her to form strong bonds with her teammates and creates a fun, engaging work environment.

Cassie finds it rewarding to connect with clients, drawing on her own experiences in understanding their questions and concerns. For her, the most fulfilling part of working in equine insurance is gaining a new perspective on the horse world. She enjoys educating clients on the importance of insurance, such as making sure your tack is protected as well as your horse.
